Our intention was to stay at Apollo for one night but stayed on for two more nights, it was so good. A lovely site with very good facilities and genuinely friendly and welcoming folk. Oh, inexpensive as well.....a great place to visit.Lakeland Outdoor Club

There are no facilities at all here except peace and quiet though water is available at the (almost) nearby Rugby club.Entertainment is of the sitting around reading and chatting variety. The beach is superb but a towel or similar should be carried in case of passers by who seem infrequent and not unduly bothered. Excellent for a get away from it all break but you ought to take a good book.
